David Engstrom

David Engstrom, 74, of Denver, died May 9, 2010. David was a beloved teacher for more than 50 years in Colorado Springs and Denver. His final 23 years were at Bishop Machebeuf High School, teaching Latin. David was a devoted parishioner at Holy Protection of the Mother of God Byzantine Catholic Church, where he served many roles, especially portraying St. Nicholas on his annual Feast Day. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 Thursday, with a Panachida prayer service at 8:00 PM; Funeral Divine Liturgy 10:00 AM Friday, all at Horan & McConaty, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd. Memorials may be made to the church parish, 1201 S. Elizabeth, Denver, 80210.
