DAVID BRECKENRIDGE (Breck) GROVER
Age 76 passed away September 15 after a lengthy hospital stay. He was born on January 10, 1947, in Knoxville, TN.
After graduating from The McCallie School in Chattanooga, the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and the University of Memphis Law School, Breck moved west for a job with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) finally settling in Denver, CO. During his many years in Denver, he was a part of the Colorado History events with Dennis Gallaher and Tom Noel. Embracing his Irish heritage, he was a member of the James Joyce Reading Society and the Metropolitan Irish Counselors Society (MICS), driving his Mercedes convertible in the annual St. Patrick’s Parade. He was a member and past president of the University Club of Denver, as well as a member of the Cactus Club.
Breck is preceded in death by his parents Clark and Patsy Grover.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years Mary Lynn Grover, his sisters Kathy (Charlie) Taylor and Peg (Jim) Willingham, and various nieces and nephews in Tennessee.
