David Johnson

David C. Johnson passed away July 21, 2020 at his home in Denver, CO. after a long battle with cancer.

David was born July 26, 1941 in Fort Madison, Iowa to Robert N. Johnson, Jr. and Dorothy Johnson.  He graduated from Fort Madison High School in 1959.  After earning his B.A. degree from Denver University, he went to New York City to pursue a career in advertising.  After retiring from his advertising career, David opened a restaurant in Sebastian, Florida.  After the death of his father, David returned to Denver, CO., where he met and married his wife, Jayne Holcomb.  David and Jayne were married 30 years.

David is survived by his wife, Jayne; his older brother, Nick Johnson, and his wife, Bonnie; his younger brother, Robert N. Johnson, III, and his wife, Linda; his younger brother, Chris Johnson, and his wife, Roxann; and his youngest brother, Greg Johnson, and his wife, Denise.  David is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.  David was preceded in death by his parents.

David is being put to rest in his home, Denver.  A celebration of life is being planned for a later date in Denver.
