David ""Dave"" Martin

Dave Martin, 58, of Denver; employed for 35 years at the Rocky Mountain News as a pressman. Dave was born August 21, 1950 in Chicago, IL, and passed away February 24, 2009. Dave was an avid hunter and fisherman and lived by the motto ""Forced to Work - Born to Hunt."" Beloved father of Tara Broshears, and her husband, Cory Berthiaume, and Rachel Martin, and her fiance, John Melnic; grandfather of Christian, Ethan, and Hayden Berthiaume; former husband of Lori Broshears; also survived by his dogs, Ammo and Roscoe, and many longtime friends. Preceded in death by his dogs, Zach and Red Dog. The family will receive friends Tuesday, 5PM - 8PM; Funeral Service, Wednesday 10AM, both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Blvd. A Reception will follow at Horan & McConaty Reception Center.
