David Kent Minner, 62, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly at his home on May 29th, 2021.
He was born to parents Larry Minner and Donna Minner Heck in 1958 in Grinnell, Iowa. He grew up with his brother Steven and sister LuAnn.
Dave met Mary Kay, the love of his life in 1980. He committed his life to loving her and making her laugh throughout 35 years of marriage. Their love blossomed and their family grew into a team of five.
He is survived by his wife Mary Kay, his sons Dustin and Patrick and his daughter Lauren, his sister LuAnn (James) Shaffer, his parents Larry (Nancy) Minner and Donna Minner Heck, numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Dave is preceded in death by his brother Steven Minner, his sister-in-law Patricia Bernard, stepfather Howard Heck, and his grandparents George and Pearl Minner and Charles and Fawn Mann.
Dave prided himself on being an amazing family man and friend. He was a sports fanatic and avid golfer, but nothing compared to spending time with his family.
His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone he interacted with as well as those he reached but never met. The Rosary Service and Funeral Mass with be at 10:15AM on Friday June 4, 2021, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church (8035 S Quebec St, Englewood, CO 80112). Share your stories of remembrance at his celebration of life at Max Taps Co. (2680 E County Line Rd A, Highlands Ranch, CO 80126) immediately following the funeral service at 12PM.
