David Richardson was born in Albion, Michigan to Marie Lutz and Robert Richardson. A graduate of Satellite High School in Satellite Beach, Florida, David was a science scholarship recipient in his senior year. He started his freshman year of college at the University of Texas with an aim toward studying biology or zoology, but changed course and received an undergraduate degree in accounting in 1976.
David began his career in the oil service business with Schlumberger in the 1970's. By the time he was 28 years of age, he had worked his way up to corporate controller. His clever sense of humor coupled with his lifelong interest in academics motivated him to take up writing in his free time. In the mid 1990s, David and wife Javana started their company, StarsEnd Creation's and published books, two of which David wrote himself. In 2004, David graduated from The University of Colorado at Denver with a Masters Degree in History. He then worked with the National Park Service in the preservation of historic sites.
In spite of his professional successes, David always remained humble and devoted to helping others. He loved his family and friends and always enjoyed taking care of, and spending time with his grandsons. David also enjoyed movies, classical music, playing golf, and traveling with his wife, Javana. His main loves were the beach (especially in Hawaii), history and reading, and of course his grandchildren.
David is survived by his wife Javana, and their children Jennifer Sievert and Nichole Parsons; grandsons Dakota, Vincent, and Drake, and siblings, Robert Richardson, Peggy Lushine, and Lisa Williams.
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Dear David, We Love You...
