David Frank Skaggs Jr.

Died in Denver on February28, 2025

Born in San Diego, CA. In 1946 to Frank and Laura Hensley Skaggs while his father served in the Navy.

In 1964, David graduated from Will Rogers High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

In 1966, he enlisted in the Air Force to serve in logistics during the Vietnam War. Upon his return to Tulsa, he attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa

He was employed as a wrestling coach at the Tulsa YMCA produced many High School and Collegiate Champion Wrestlers.

Later in life he earned a coveted position in the Bar Tenders Hall of Fame, while in that profession. He also became a business owner, and a producer of Action movies.

Fondly known as “Jeepers” to friends and his beloved city of Denver, he participated in many community events, charitable Fundraising and the Denver sports scene. Always a loyal son, brother, cousin and good friend to all. We know he is resting in the arms of his loving, heavenly father.
