David A. Stavish

Formerly of Plainfield NJ, David Alexander Stavish, 63, of Centennial, CO passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 8, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer. Arrangements are by Horan & McConaty Funeral Home in Denver, CO. Friends and family are invited to sign a guestbook and/or leave a note on their website at HoranCares.com. There will be a viewing on Sunday, Feb 13th, 2011 from 12:00 noon – 6:00pm and a funeral service on Monday Feb 14th at 10:00 am at Queen of Peace Catholic church. Cremation will be private. Born and raised in Plainfield, NJ, Dave resided in Memphis, TN for 8 years and Aurora, Co for the past 21 years. He was a graduate of Regis University in Denver, and the Rocky Mountain Regional Sales Manager for the Georgia Pacific Paper Co. for 42 years. Dave served in the US Army Reserves. Dave was known to all for gentle spirit, generosity and his quick wit and sense of humor. He will be sorely missed. He is survived by his loving wife Donna at home, his father Thomas J. Stavish of Marlton, NJ, daughter and son-in-law Colleen and Richard, of Fuquay Varina NC, his son Casey of Phoenix AZ, brothers Thomas M. of Florissant CO, Joseph of Watchung NJ, sister Elizabeth Belluscio of Whiting NJ, stepchildren Chandra and Dennis Cascone of Las Vegas NV, 3 grandchildren, He also leaves a host of adoring nephews and nieces.
