David W. Thayer passed away August 12, 2005 after a long illness. Adoring husband of 49 years to Ginny; dear father of Sandra Alpert, Duane (Ginger) Thayer; beloved grandfather of Rustin (Jenn) Alpert, Ryan (Barrie) Alpert, Chris (Brenda) Sappenfield, Josh, Adam and Alex Thayer; great grandfather of Zachary, Logan, Austin and Isabella Alpert; Maggie, Tate, Brodie Alpert and Soren Sappenfield. Visitation, Tuesday, 5:00-8:00 PM, Funeral Service, Wednesday, 11:00 AM, both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd. Interment, Ft, Logan National Cemetery.
