Dawn Javins

Dawn Rene Javins, 57, passed away January 20, 2023, in Denver, Colorado.

She was born February 03, 1965, in Riverside, California to Sanddy Javins and Gerald Russell. She graduated from Emily Griffith School of Nursing. She was most recent a nurse with Lumicare Hospice. Dawn was a dedicated hospice nurse who spent her life caring for others and her evenings caring for her beloved cats. Dawn over the years in hospice care touched so many families and lives in many ways.

She would brighten any room she walked into, calm the chaos and love with an open heart. There was never a time that you would run into Dawn you weren’t greeted with a hug and her sweet smile. The beauty and peace she brought into the world will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her mother, Sanddy Javins; and sister, Valerie D. Javins Vigil (Aaron).

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 2pm-7pm Thursday, January 26, 2023, from the chapel of Horan & McConaty, 11150 East Dartmouth Ave, Aurora CO 80014. Visiting will resume at 11am Friday, January 27 at the funeral home chapel.

Graveside Service will follow chapel service at 2:30pm at Fairmount Cemetery, Denver CO.

Reception will follow the graveside service at DoubleTree by Hilton Denver Cherry Creek, 455 S Colorado Blvd, Denver, CO 80246.
