Dean John Wear was born on November 8, 1946, in Denver, CO to John and Doris Wear. He is survived by his wife, Karen, and his mother, Doris. He is also survived by his stepchildren Michael Pakiser & his wife Julie, Diane Leach & her daughter Stacy, his grandson Jacob Pakiser plus numerous other family members and wonderful friends including his little friend, his dog Heidi. Dean attended school from kindergrten through high school in Arvada, CO. He graduated from Arvada High School. After graduation, he joined the Navy and served 2 tours of duty in Vietnam. He returned home and lived in Evergreen, CO for 3 years and then moved to Golden and then to Aurora whre he has lived for the past 30 years. Dean worked for Samsonite for 17 years and then went to work for the State of Colorado as a Driver's Examiner where he has worked for the past 20 years. Dean was a member of Mt. Zion Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, Masonic Lodge No. 7 A.F. & A.M. and V.F.W. Post 3631 in Aurora. He loved gardening, fishing and camping. He was a Native American history buff and had a collection of Native American art. He loved to read, especially anything about dogs and westerns. Dean passed away on April 13th at the home of his brother-in-law, Woody Cordill, after a short illness with his wife and sister-in-law, Gina Brown, at his side. His Visitation is Sunday 2:00PM-8:00PM and Memorial Service Monday 2:00PM both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant St., Thornton. Inurnment Tuesday 10:15AM at Ft.
