Debbie Martin

Deborah Kay (Befort) Martin, age 58, passed away early Friday morning, June 15, 2018 at her mother's home in Thornton, Colorado. Born on December 6, 1959, in Denver, Colorado to Ralph and Joan Befort, she was a true native and a graduate of Thornton High School, class of 1977. Her most recent employment was with the University of Colorado as an IT auditor. She enjoyed spending her free-time with her granddaughters, family, and friends - self-sufficient and one of simplistic needs. Always giving and one of God's true humanitarians, she will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by grandparents, John (Susie) Stubert; father, Ralph Befort; and stepfather Frances Gassman. She is survived by her loving mother, Joan Befort; son, Christopher Martin; brothers Daniel (Michelle) Vigil-Befort, Keith (Michele) Befort, and Paul Befort; Granddaughters Alayna and Alyssa Martin. Further survived by nephews, nieces, and many friends. The family will receive friends from 8:00AM to 8:00PM, Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street in Thornton. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 10:30AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 11385 Grant Drive in Northglenn.
