Debora L. Becker

Debora L. Becker, 48, of Littleton, CO, went to be with the Lord on June 23, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Debbie is survived by her beloved husband, Steve; daughter Jessica(Charlie) Petersen; and son, Joshua Hampshire. She is also survived by her mother, Rose Caburnay; and sisters, Rose Marie (Ron) Pappilon; Cynthia (Benji) Benjestorf; and Linda (Mac) McComas. Preceded in death by her father, Johnny Caburnay. Debbie was born in Yokosuko, Japan (US Naval Base) on January 8, 1959. Because of her father's military career, Debbie lived in England, Virginia, Hawaii and California, and her love of travel continued to take her many places with her husband. Debbie met Steve in February of 1990 and they were married November 2, 1997 in Colorado. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister. Her unmistakable laugh brought joy to all those who loved her. She was committed to the Lord and had a heart to pray for and serve those in need. Debbie was very active within her church. In 2004 she made a trip to South Africa with her husband. Debbie was moved with compassion when seeing first hand the struggles that many endure in Africa. She and Steve had a vision, and were planning to establish an orphanage and continue their missionary work in Africa. Steve plans to carry out their vision in memory of his beloved wife, Debbie. Memorial Service to be held Tuesday, July 10 at 10:00 A.M. at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood.
