Deborah Ann Vail

Deborah ""Debbie"" Ann Vail, 59, of Thornton, Colorado, passed away July 24, 2017, with family at her side. Debbie was raised on the south side of Chicago and attended Metro State University to receive her degree in Health Care Management. She worked for 14 years with Owen Corning / Trumbull Asphalt as a Human Resources Manager. Debbie had the opportunity to stay at home to raise her children for twenty years. She was an active member of Northern Hills Christian Church and attended various Bible Study groups. She was a well-known member of the Broomfield Republican Women's Club and was very patriotic. Debbie is survived by her loving husband, Robert ""Bob"" Vail; children, Nicolette Rose Vail, Meghan Anne (Rami) Adas and Bobby Vail, Jr.; grandson, Decker Joel Adas; father, Joseph Murphy; siblings, Joseph Murphy, Jr., Michael Murphy and Charlie Petropulos; and cousins, Rosanne Griffith and Kathy Kiley. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Marie Malone. The family will receive friends during visitation on Saturday, July 29, 2017, from 4:00 - 8:00 PM, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street (100th at Grant Street), in Thornton, Colorado 80229. Funeral Services honoring Deborah will be Sunday, July 30, 2017, beginning at 11:00 AM, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street (100th at Grant Street), in Thornton, Colorado 80229. ****The family requests guests wear the color teal (the color representing Ovarian Cancer) or lavender (awareness of all cancers) to the services.**** In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Deborah's name to: Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance PO Box 32141 New York, New York 10087-2141 https://ocrfa.org/ Please share your memories of Debbie and condolences with her family by signing the guestbook below.
