Deborah Jean Varner

Deborah Jean Varner, 64, of Greenwood Village passed away on December 19, 2018, in her home. Born on March 5, 1954, she was the daughter of Robert and Margaret (Sylvestre) Simpson. She grew up in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and attended Southeastern Louisiana University, where she was on the gymnastics team. She then attended and graduated from the University of South Alabama with a degree in nursing. Shortly thereafter, she moved to Denver, where she worked as a nurse until she married and started a family.

She enjoyed Vietnamese food, collecting antique dolls, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Lauren Varner and her fiancé, Eric Faddis, Cameron Varner, and Megan Varner, and her siblings, Sandra Barber, Chris Simpson, and David Simpson.

A Funeral Mass to celebrate Debbie's life will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at 10:00 AM at Horan & McConaty, 5303 East County Line Road, Centennial, CO 80122.
