Deborah Weseloh

August 7, 1950 — February 13, 2022

Broomfield, Colorado

Debi was born on August 7, 1950 in Denver, Colorado to William K and Donna J White. Debi entered into eternal life on February 13, 2022 in Westminster, Colorado. She attended St. Francis De Sales grade school in Denver and graduated from Urusuline Academy High School in San Antonio Texas. Debi was a fixture in the Affordable Housing Industry in Colorado and the eight-state region. She achieved her Certified Property Manager designation in 1984 and was a founding member of the Affordable Housing Management Association (AHMA) for this region. Debi was also a life-long member of Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). She received many awards and accolades for her work in the Affordable Housing Industry, her favorite being the Seven Seals Award “for meritorious leadership and initiative in support of the men and women who serve America in the National Guard and Reserve.” She broke her glass ceiling and founded the Ross Management Group in 1985, beginning with a single property of 69 units and three employees, and expanded it through the last 35 years to many properties with over 3600 units, employing hundreds of people and providing quality of life to thousands of disadvantaged individuals.

She thoroughly enjoyed family time and hosting holidays, special events, and parties… especially St. Patrick’s Day. She was proud of and loved her Irish heritage. Debi loved to travel the world with her family and friends, and especially enjoyed traveling with her grandkids. She was an avid scuba diver, hiker, and mountain climber, having climbed 5 of Colorado’s 14,000-foot mountains.  Her favorite vacation activity was petting and kissing the Grey Whales in the San Ignacio Lagoon in Baja Mexico and hosting her family and friends in her vacation home in Loreto, Mexico. She later traded that vacation home for a winter home in Saint George, Utah.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Weseloh, daughter Stacie (Bill) Packard, daughter Christina (Jason) Trout, and grandchildren Hailie Packard, Ryan Packard, Colton Trout, and (soon to come) Memphis Trout. She is also survived by her sister Vicki (Stephen) Pilkington and her brother Christopher White, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and her aunt Gail Hageman and her uncle David Kneuss. She was preceded in death by her parents and beloved brother, Thomas White.

A Rosary will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday February 17 at the Horan & McConaty mortuary, 3020 Federal Blvd, Denver, CO 80211. Debi’s Celebration of Life Service will take place on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 11:00 am at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 2100 Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood, CO 80214, with a reception following at the church.

There will also be a Debi-type party, an ole fashioned Irish wake, on August 6, 2022. Details will be provided later.

Her suggested memorials are the Shriners Hospital for Children, Make a Wish Fountain, and Wounded Warriors Project.
