Debra Lynn Redger

February 8, 1954 — April 10, 2015

Debra Lynn (Ivey) Redger February 8, 1954 – April 10, 2015 Resided in Littleton, CO Debbie Redger, 61, entered eternal life on the morning of April 10, 2015. She was a native to Colorado, born in Denver on February 8, 1954 to Paul & Geraldine Ivey. She was the third child in their family of four. Debbie attended school at Abraham Lincoln High School. In 1973, Debbie was blessed when she met her husband of 41 years, Dwayne Redger. They were engaged two short days after meeting, and married in the following months. They remained in Denver and started a family of their own with the birth of their first daughter, Tina Elaine on April 28, 1974; followed by the birth of their second daughter, Charon Marie on March 22, 1978. Debbie and Dwayne resided in Littleton, Colorado at the same family home since 1977. Dwayne's goal was to provide Debbie with the opportunity to stay at home and care for their children and grandchildren, as it gave Debbie much joy. Earlier in life, Debbie did work outside the home for a short time, in which she did the following jobs: daycare provider, packing for a moving company, and cleaning houses. As most would agree, her most rewarding job was providing childcare to her five grandchildren. Additionally, Debbie was an extraordinary housewife; always keeping her house, yard and flowers immaculate. Debbie enjoyed bowling in her early years, cross-stitch, watching movies, spending time with family, gardening, shopping, doing puzzles, and collecting teddy bears. Debbie was known most for her incredible family that her and Dwayne created together, but also for her caring and forgiving nature. Her instant forgiveness and willingness to help had shown bright from her heart. There was no request too big for Debbie; if she could help in any way she would do anything for the well being of others. Debbie is survived by her husband, Dwayne; and their daughters, Tina (Travis) Williams and Charon Redger; her five grandchildren, Serena, Bryce, Morgan, Garrett & Ashlynn; her brothers, Paul Michael Ivey and Ronald Ivey; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Geraldine Ivey; and her sister Paula Stanley. Viewing will be held at Horan & McConaty, 3101 S Wadsworth Blvd. Lakewood, CO 80227, Wednesday April 15, 2015 from 6pm-8pm. Funeral Service will be at Red Rocks Fellowship Church, 11195 W Belleview Ave Littleton, CO 80127, at 11:30am on Thursday, April 16, 2015. Interment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 1:30pm; reception to follow at Red Rocks Fellowship Church. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate if any donations be made to Porter Hospice at the Johnson Center or Red Rocks Fellowship Church.
