March 31, 1938 — July 7, 2015

Isabella ""DeDe"" Cruz, was born March 31, 1938 in Springer, New Mexico to Sigifredo Cruz and Isabel Abeyta Cruz, and passed away July 7, 2015 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado at age 77. DeDe is survived by her daughters Melody Ortega and Desiree Ortega, her granddaughter Erica Luo, her daughter-in-law B.J. Brooks and sisters and brothers, Eleanor Tapia, Florida ""Walla"" Giza, Jimmy Valdez and Angelo Cruz. DeDe was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Ernie Cruz, Jack Cruz, Bobby Solis, Emily Lucero, Margaret Florez and Femia Cruz. The Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, 10:00 AM at St. Dominic Catholic Church, West 29th Avenue and Federal Boulevard. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
