Delbert A. Lauterback

Delbert A. Lauterback, 92, of Denver, died peacefully July 11, 2010. He was preceded in death by Katherine ""Jo"", his wife of 66 years, and by his brother, Jack Hestand. He was the loving father of Kathleen (Jay) Rust. Also survived by sister Rosemary Hoeflinger, sisters-in-law Emilie Hestand, Barbara (Arnold) Flittner, Betsy (Clarence) Bailey, many nieces and nephews. Del was Superintendent of Buildings for Denver Public Library for many years. He was a unique man who lived life to the fullest. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 5600 Greenwood Plaza Blvd., Greenwood Village, CO 80111. A celebration of Del & Jo's lives will be held 1:30 to 3:30 PM, September 1, at the Heritage Club of Denver, 2020 S. Monroe St., Denver.
