Delbert L. Sihrer

March 4, 1932 — March 15, 2012

Delbert ""Del"" Sihrer was born in Zell, South Dakota on March 4, 1932 to his father, Joseph and mother, Margret. He went to Catholic school in Zell, South Dakota. He proudly served in the National Guard from 1950-1952 during the Korean War. In 1953 Delbert went to the University of South Dakota and then moved to Colorado, where he worked at the Rocky Mountain post as a printer until he retired. It was in Colorado where he also met his first wife, Jane Woodruff and had four children. Some of his hobbies included bowling, traveling, and going out to eat with family and friends. He is survived by his three sons, Ronald, Donald and Craig; his daughter, Bonnie; granddaughter, Jaimie; his ""Janey""; his brothers, Norman and John; and sister, Regina. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph; mother, Margret; and granddaughter, Micky. Memorial Service will be Friday, March 23, 2012 at 11 AM, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton. Committal Service to follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
