Delia Marie Vigil Winters

Delia Marie Vigil Winters was born in Denver, Colorado on June 13, 1940 to Edward Leo Lovato and Matilda Mary (Tenorio) Marez, and passed away at her home in Commerce City, Colorado on November 4, 2018 at age 78. She was employed with Safeway for 30 years.

Delia is survived by her husband Vance Winters, her children, Mike Vigil, Lori Vigil, and Benjamin (Maria) Vigil, her grandchildren, Michael Vigil, Jr., Andrea Vigil, LaRae Vigil, Christopher Ray Vigil, Joseph Vasquez and Victoria Vigil, great grandchildren, Giovanni, Dominic, Julian, Jaeden, Jeremiah, Alexa, and Santana, and her sister Cathy (Robert Bay) Marez

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Jose “Slits’ Vigil, son Thomas Vigil, brothers Rick Lovato, Larry Lovato, Ken Marez and Chris Marez, and her great grandson, Adrian.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00PM on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Horan &McConaty Family Chapel, 3020 Federal Boulevard. Interment will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado. Following the Service at Fort Logan Cemetery, the family invites you to join them for a reception at Cummings Prather American Legion Post #193 at 5110 Morrison Road, Denver, 80219.
