Delora (Dot) Belle Price, age 84, of Aurora CO passed away on Wednesday November 16, 2016 at 1:30 am after a short illness (pneumonia) . She was born and raised in Liberal KS and was the youngest of four. She was preceded in death by her parents Everett and Georgia Lois (Dudley) Mead, brother Charles Mead, sister Lottie (Mead) Ringer, step-daughter LaNita Hubbard, first husband Billie Francis Wriston and husband William L. Price. She is survived by son Billie Ray Wriston of Aurora CO; granddaughters Kirsten Marie Ortiz of Melissa, TX, Brenna Renee Wriston of Dallas, TX, and Holly Rae Wriston of Denver, CO; great grandchildren Kennedy, Isaac and Logan Vega of Melissa, TX; step-daughter Karen Hale, six step-grandchildren; and brother George Mead. When Dot moved to Gillette, Wyoming in 1968 the family lived in a coal fired house that had been the first hospital for Campbell County, Wyoming. While living in Andrews, TX she received her Licensed Practical Nurse certification in 1975 and worked in Andrews, TX, Hobbs, NM, Bowie and Henrietta, TX, and also Pratt, KS. Dot and husband Bill Price also spent some time as campground hosts at beautiful Toad Suck, AR. Dot loved to cook, play cards and dominoes, fish, and bowl in her younger days. She loved spending time with family and entertaining. Dot was always there for anyone that needed a helping hand. She enjoyed many weekends boating at Lake Keyhole by Devils Tower in Wyoming. Delora Price will be remembered as a faithful believer. There will be a celebration of life service in Aurora, CO and a graveside service in Bowie TX early next year.
