Delores ""Betty"" Wilson of Littleton, Colorado passed away on October 19, 2015 at the age of 84. Betty Wilson was born in Denver, CO to Don and Caroline Weist. She was raised in Englewood, CO graduating from Englewood High School. Her parents were active in the community of Englewood as was Betty. She went to Stephen's College for Women in Missouri following her high school years, and finished her education at Denver University in Business. Betty enjoyed and performed as a majorette both in high school and college. She is survived by her children, Victoria Lee Curran, Robert Eugene Marshall, Diane Elizabeth Marshall, Warren Burke Marshall, and Beth Ayn Wilson. She is also survived by her grandchildren. Victoria's children are Casey Gipson, Clifford Gipson, A.J. Curran, and Kelley Johnston. Bob's children are Nicole Marshall, and Bobby Marshall. Diane's children are Jessica Scharfenberg, Joy Southworth, and Julia Trostel. Warren's children are Jennifer Minnig, Amanda Marshall, and Jonathan Marshall. Beth Ayn's children are Hannah Joy Rognmoe and Joshua Rognmoe. Betty has 13 great-grandchildren. Betty has a legacy of being strongly passionate about the USA. She served even as a teenager in the Republican Party and would be seen raising support as a precinct committee woman even in her later years. She understood the founding of this country and was involved in any way she could to preserve our heritage. She planted that passion in each one of her children. She served in the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office for years, followed by serving in Cherry Hills Community Church in Highlands Ranch as a secretary, receptionist for years. She was involved in her children's lives and loved ""those grandbabies"". A Visitation honoring Betty will be held on Monday, October 26, 2015 starting at 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM with the Funeral Service to follow at 1:00 PM, both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road, Centennial, Colorado. The Interment will follow at 2:30 PM at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 6601 South Colorado Boulevard, Littleton, Colorado.
