Dennis F. Garner

Dennis Garner, 69, of Aurora, Colorado died peacefully at home with family on December 14, 2011. He was preceded in death by his father Enos and mother Melba. Dennis is survived by his adoring wife Barbara; daughter Julie (Greg) Hernandez; son Jason (Inge) Garner; and grandchildren Alex & Ashley Hernandez and Hannah, Sadie & Julia Garner. He is also survived by his sisters JoAnn (Arthur) Hayes, Janette Hester and Gayle Villegas. Dennis was a beloved employee of Johnson Auto Plaza in Brighton, Colorado for 19 years. Prior to this he was employed by Richard Johnson at Johnson Chevrolet in Castle Rock, Colorado. He enjoyed working, traveling, playing golf and spending time with family and friends. Dennis' gentle spirit and kind heart endeared him to everyone he knew, and he will be missed terribly. A Celebration of Dennis' Life will be held on December 21, 2011 at 10:00 a.m., at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road (one block to the west of South Holly Street), in Centennial, Colorado. Memorial donations may be made in Dennis' name to Evercare Hospice, 6455 South Yosemite Street, Greenwood Village, Colorado 80111.
