Diana Mae Horne, age 75, passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Monday, May 9th. She had been sick for some time with Pulmonary Hypertension and ILD, a rare lung disease.
Born August 18th, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan to Olga and John Horne. She lived in Detroit, Phoenix, and Aurora, Colorado. She worked for Mountain Bell and Dex for many years and retired in 2005. She was very successful in sales and won many awards and trips for her work. After retirement from Dex, she was a caregiver for her mother, Olga, until she passed.. Then, she became a caregiver for individuals with special needs. She loved helping and taking care of people. She had such a huge heart for others. She never hesitated to let people know she loved them.
Survivors include her brother, Richard Horne, in Southern California. Her son and daughter, John Osowski and Kim Burgan. Her daughter in law and son in law, Miriam Osowski and Rob Burgan. Her beloved grandchildren, Taylor, Jeremy and Allison Osowski and Cameron and Grace Burgan. And her godchildren, Eve Mormino and Julia Hensel.
Services will be held at 1:00 Sunday, May 22nd at Horan & McConaty, 5303 E. County Line Road (west of Holly Street), Centennial, CO 80122. Relatives and friends are welcome. After the service, there will be a reception at Kim Burgan’s home in Highlands Ranch.
