Diane Dratler Warner Bryant

Diane Dratler Warner Bryant of Greenwood Village, Colorado and Laguna Woods, California, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2025 at Hoag Hospital, Irvine, California after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

Diane was born on September 8, 1945, in New York City, the daughter of Ed Dratler and Edith (Rothschild) Dratler.

After Diane graduated from Highland Park (Illinois) High School in 1963, she attended the University of Illinois for her Freshman year. She then transferred to the University of Denver where she earned her teaching degree, graduating in 1967. She started her teaching career at Holly Ridge Elementary School in the Cherry Creek School District, later helping the district open Heritage Elementary School in what is now Centennial, Colorado. She continued her education, earning her Masters Degree at the University of Colorado in Boulder. Diane taught in Cherry Creek for 34 years, sharing her love of reading and learning with countless children.

Diane also owned and managed her own rental properties, becoming known as a Primo Landlord. Many of her tenants became extensions of her family, reflecting her generous and nurturing spirit.

After retiring from teaching in 2002, Diane fulfilled her lifelong dream of traveling, embarking on numerous cruises and exploring much of the world. She was always ready for an adventure but treasured her time spent caring for her grandchildren and supporting their sporting events.

Diane is survived by her husband, Darrel Bryant, her brother Jerry Dratler and his wife Sandra; her sister Wendy (Dratler) Selin; daughter Andrea (Warner) Crispe and her husband Jesse, along with their children Alex and his wife Cass, Samantha and Brendon and her great-granddaughter Sophie; her son Justin Warner and his wife Jessica (Hayutin) Warner and their daughter Elle. She is also survived by her Stepson Jeff Bryant

A memorial service to celebrate Diane’s life will be held on Friday, March 14th, at 10 AM at Horan & McConaty located at 5303 East County Line Road, Centennial, CO, 80122, with Committal to follow at 11AM. A reception will take place at Diane’s home at 5782 S. Hanover Way, Greenwood Village, CO 80111.
