Diane Crawford

Diane loved being outdoors more than anything. She was most happy in her yard surrounded by her beautiful flowers. Anyone who knew her understood her love for the mountains as well. It had been her dream to live in Colorado, and she enjoyed every moment of her 23 years living in the Rockies. She loved great hikes, backpacking to wonderful campsites, picnics by mountain streams and lakes, and all the wildlife that the mountains offer. In the winter she enjoyed a rigorous day of cross country skiing, followed by a hot bowl of chili at home. She also loved her family, and especially loved to cook and bake for everyone. She believed that birthdays were special, and always sent the perfect card to those she cared about'""no matter what the occasion. She was also proud of her two grandchildren, and loved their visits. She even took trips to visit them at their home in Alaska. She and Dale were married 46 years, and enjoyed many adventures together. Traveling and exploring new places, spending time with her siblings and their families, and enjoying great Mexican food were just a few of the things they had fun doing as a couple. She was a beautiful and loving wife and mother, and will be dearly missed by all of us whose lives she blessed. Visitation Monday, 6:00pm to 7:30pm, Rosary 7:30pm, both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth. Funeral Mass Tuesday, 10:30am St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 6673 W.
