Diane Hinders, 73, went home to be with the Lord May 4, 2014. She was the beloved mother of Dori Rominger and her husband Rob, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Michael and his wife Chris, of Pine, Colorado, and Duane and his wife Claudia, who currently live in Brazil. She was also the proud grandmother to Julia, Thomas, Eliel, Emanuelle, Deborah and Marilia. Diane grew up in Denver and had a heart to volunteer from a young age. Her children dubbed her a ""Professional Volunteer"" as she regularly donated 40 hours a week to all the things for which she had a passion, including the Needlework Guild of America, Camp Fire Girls, teaching Sunday School at her church, and serving on several church committees. She graduated from Colorado State College (now University of Northern Colorado) with a degree in Foreign Languages. Diane's love of the Denver Broncos gained recognition when the 1997 team went to Super Bowl XXXII and beat the Green Bay Packers to win their first title. Her Broncos memorabilia collection that filled her basement was featured on National Television. Six years later she even got to see #7, John Elway, get inducted into the Football Hall of Fame. Family and friends will gather to honor Diane's life at a Funeral Service on Friday, May 9, 10:00 AM at Aurora First Presbyterian Church (AFPC), 1585 Kingston Street, Aurora, CO 80010. Donations are suggested, in lieu of flowers, to go to either AFPC, or Samaritan's Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607. Diane's family cherishes your memories of her.
