Dion Thomas Green

Dion Thomas Green, 40, of Aurora, Colorado. Loving son of Don and Mozelle Green. Brother of Shawn, Erin, Patrick and Kerri (brother-in-law Dan). Uncle to Sydney and Jack. Passed away June 29, 2007. Memorial Services will be held, Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 10 O'Clock in the Morning at Horan and McConaty, 11150 East Dartmouth Avenue (at Parker Rd.). In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society of Colorado, 2255 South Oneida St. Denver, Colorado 80224. Dion was a wonderful son and little brother. He had a passion for the outdoors, especially the mountains of Colorado. He enjoyed hiking, camping, the Aspens and kicking around in the rivers and streams. After graduating college, Dion moved to Colorado where he could enjoy all the places and things that made him feel so peaceful. He loved his dogs from Charlie to Bear and always included them in his outdoor fun. Dion grew up with a guitar in his hand! He enjoyed all types of music. He was self taught and could play by ear. He was known to quickly learn a song and serenade us with his musical talent. Dion loved his family and was a proud uncle to his niece and nephew, Sydney and Jack. He cared about others and had many life-long friends. He was a kind, thoughtful and sweet guy with a sensative, fun-loving way about him. As the mountains embraced Dion and gave him peace, our family is at peace knowing Dion is with Dad. "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal."
