Dixie W. Long

Dixie (Wray) Long, 70 of Highlands Ranch, CO, passed away on January 10, 2020. She was born to William Howard and Darlene Humiston on October 1, 1949 in Hutchinson, Kansas.

Dixie received her Associates Degree in Kansas, and pursued a career in Real Estate. After moving her family to Colorado, she further dedicated her time to her family as a Homemaker for more than 38 years. During her free time, Dixie enjoyed fishing, cooking, putting smiles on people's faces and most of all, spending time with her family.

Dixie is survived by her husband Robert (Terry) Long; children Mark Long and Michael Long and his wife Lori; grandchildren Andrew Long and his wife Kaylynn, Aspyn, Brooklyn and Landen; and great-grandchild Harper.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Scott Humiston.

A Viewing will be held Thursday, January 16, 2020, 1:00pm at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home (5303 East County Line Rd, Centennial, CO 80122). Graveside Service to follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery (6601 S Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121).
