Dixie Pauls, loving Wife, Mother of 5, Grandmother of 13, passed away on September 22nd, 2011. Dixie was a loving and caring individual that often took people in to make sure they had a place to stay and something to eat. She loved to paint and craft, often teaching her children those skills as well. She was of Native American decent and loved learning all she could and teaching her heritage to who ever wanted to listen. She loved listening to music, watching choreography and dancing. She loved spending time outdoors and in the mountains as much as possible. During the holiday season her home teemed with Christmas music as well has the smell of homemade candy and ginger bread houses. Although she had health issue since birth she never stopped proving individuals wrong showing that she was just as good if not better than any other person out there. She always carried a light hearted attitude where ever she went. She had a love and great respect for the elderly and did her best to try and help them whenever possible, even if it meant sending her children to assist when needed. She had a great love for her father who passed in '77 as well as her Mother and couldn't wait to be able to see them again and play with her grandchildren who had passed before her. Her last wishes were that everyone throws a party for her and celebrate her passing because she is in a far better place and gets to see her loved ones that she missed so much. Her heart far exceeded the size of her body and she will be missed by many. We'll miss ya Mom and see ya when our chores are through.
