Dolores âLingâ Pablo, 86, born in the city of Agana on the island of Guam on February 17, 1933 passed away peacefully at the Denver Hospice surrounded by her family on July 28, 2019. Dolores was a long time resident of Denver, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Vicente âBenâ Pablo; and sons, John Pablo and Thomas Pablo.
Dolores was adored by her husband Ben for 54 years. Ben was career Air Force and they both loved the military life. Dolores worked for The Denver Public School District when the last of her eight children entered elementary school. When she and Ben retired they traveled the country and Europe to visit family and friends. Dolores loved going to Las Vegas and playing the slots; dinners out with family; rooting for her beloved Broncos; music; dancing; movie nights with grand-kids; driving up to the mountains; and her most favorite pastime, BBQâs in the backyard. She was an incredible cook, specializing in dishes of her native Guam. She cooked by sight, smell and touch â she never measured. Her holiday meals were something to behold.
Dolores is survived by children, Polly Hoganson (Steve), Vincent Pablo, Donna Lozano, Elizabeth Gadson (Ezzard), Frank Pablo (Dawn), Robert Pablo (Andrea), and Anthony Pablo (Kolet); grandchildren, Adam Hoganson (Erin), Marie Limauro (Harry), Andrew Hoganson (Rachel), Michael Pablo (Maria Perez), James Pablo (Jon Torres), Jonathon Pablo (Jessica), Heliena Garber (Dameon), Jacob Lozano (Delilah), Matthew Lozano (Lilly), Jante Gadson, Hazel Pablo, Vicente Pablo, Heather Cruz (Robert) Lauren Flores (Eddie Exabe), Hali Flores, Natalie Barrios (Omar), Nicholas Pablo (Nicole), Eli Pablo, Dallas Petties, Satchel Petties, Chris Petties, Ana Gadson (Ezzard II), Aaron Pablo, Andre Pablo (Kacey), and Addison âAJâ Pablo; and 31 great grandchildren.
