Donald Lee Ales

Donald, 82, of Arvada, Colorado, formerly of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, passed away on February 25, 2017, with family at his side. Don is survived by his wife, Betty, of Arvada; children, Jerry Ales, of Conifer, Colorado, Marilyn (Malcolm) Johnson, of Westminster, Colorado, and Christine (Josh) Heaps, of Chandler, Arizona; grandsons, Derek Johnson, of Westminster, Colorado, Marcus (Bri) Johnson, of Greeley, Colorado, Nathan Johnson, of Westminster, Colorado, Tyler Johnson, of Westminster, Colorado, Lucas Johnson, of Westminster, Colorado, and Baby Heaps, of Chandler, Arizona, due in June, 2017; nephew, Gaylon Ales, Jr., of Marble City, Oklahoma; and nieces, Trudy Peters, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, and Angie Kimble, of Bunch, Oklahoma. Preceded in death by his parents, Pete & Retta Ales; and brother, Gaylon Ales, Sr. Memorial Services in Don's honor will be Friday, March 3, 2017, beginning at 11 AM, at First Southern Baptist Church, 7990 Lowell Boulevard, in Westminster, Colorado 80030. Committal Services with Military Honors will be on Monday, March 6, 2017, at 11:30 AM, at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Area B, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, in Denver, Colorado 80235.
