Donald Lee Allen

Donald Lee Allen, age 75, passed away September 4, 2016. He was a Veteran, scholar, educator, storyteller, and beloved husband, father, and brother. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Anthony Allen and Frances Louise Allen. He is survived by his wife, Alix Ann (Hiltbrand) Allen, his son, Joshua Allen, his daughter-in-law, Mia Allen, his daughter, Molly Allen Moats, his son-in-law, Steve Moats, and his four adored grandchildren, Max Allen, Luca Allen, Charlie Moats, and Stella Moats. He also leaves his cherished brothers, Michael Allen and Steve Allen, as well as numerous extended family and friends. Mr. Allen once wrote ""Cultivate integrity, the harmony of the inner and outer you. Cultivate tranquility, the satisfied mind and the satisfied heart. Cultivate simplicity, patience and love, the three treasures, the sources of plenty, hope, and strength."" Donations can be made in honor of ""Don L.
