Donald Robert Bentley was born on June 17, 1935 to Fred and Leola Bentley. He grew up in Denver with his three sisters. He became an auto mechanic and with less than an 8th grade education he became co-owner of American Transmission and Gear a Denver business for more than 35 years. On September 3, 1960 he married Sharon Creason. They had 7 children, (3 deceased at birth) and raised them in the Wheat Ridge family home where Don resided after Sharon's death in 1988. Father of Bobbie Jo (John) Ludwig, John (Tina) Bentley, James (Mitzi) Bentley, and BethAnn (Kwasi) Gyamfi; brother of Gloria Millis, Charlie Huber, Sarah Randall and thousands of HAMC Brothers worldwide. Grandfather of Miranda, Nathaniel, Donavon, Brittany, Randy, Misti, Gabbrielle, Jacqueline, Jeremy, Victoria, Sharon and Sharleen. Great-grandfather of Gezzibella and Jeremiah. Preceded in death by sons David Bentley, Luke Bentley and Larry Lankford. In 1963 he was the 7th founding member of the The Brother's Fast Motorcycle Club. At 66 years of age he provided the Charter that enabled himself and the other members to be a Prospect Club for The Hell's Angels Motorcycle club. July 13th was the most important day of his life.
