Donald Joseph Girard

Don, 85, passed away March 21, 2014. Born April 1, 1928 in Chicago, IL to Arthur J. and Cora (Vollmer) Girard. Father of Joseph (Audrey), Elizabeth, Julie, James, Donald (Jennifer), Matthew (Karen); and grandfather of Aaron, Mark and Kurt Girard, Sarah (Tarek) Elrashidi, Lia and Nicholas Rodriguez, Luke and Kendra Brandt, Jessica, Kathleen, Jack and Charles Girard. He was preceded in death by his wife Mildred; sisters Mary Fardy and Ruth Jago; and brothers Arthur ""Bud"" Girard and Jerome Girard. Vistiation Tuesday, March 25 5:30-6:30 PM with a Recitation of the Rosary beginning at 6:30 PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E Dartmouth Avenue, Aurora. Funeral Mass Wednesday, March 26, 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Loreto, 18000 E Arapahoe Road, Foxfield. Committal at Fort Logan National Cemetery will follow at 2:00 PM, Staging Area A.
