In loving memory of Donald W. Gregg
Donald W. Gregg passed away on April 20th, 2024 at the age of 87 in Parker, Colorado.
Donald, fondly known as Don, was born to Verane and Myra Gregg on February 27th, 1937. Don graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from the University of Georgia in 1959. He also served in the Army Reserves as a Sergeant Major and received an Honorable Discharge in 1962. After graduating college and separating from the Reserves, Don started his own computer business in Washington, D.C., then entered the construction and mortgage businesses when he moved to the West. Before he retired, Don oversaw the construction of communities in Colorado. He was a pillar of strength and wisdom for his family, always offering guidance and unconditional love.
In addition to his family and his business endeavors, he was deeply involved in his community. He participated in the Fine Arts Foundation, Arapahoe County Planning Commission and the City of Centennial Planning Commission. His passion in the community will be remembered by all who knew him.
Don is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Kitty, and his children, Kevin, David, Cindy, and Chris; three grandkids, Kyle, Andrew, and Emily and six great-grandchildren.
He will be remembered by his corny Dad jokes, love of politics and sports, infectious smile, and generosity and kindness.
A Celebration of his Life will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, at 3:00 p.m., at Horan and McConaty, 5303 East County Line Road, Centennial, CO. Please send all charitable donations to the Denver Center for the Performing Arts.
