Donald Hogle, age 91, of Thornton, Colorado passed away June 20, 2012. Donald proudly served in the United States Air Force during World War II. He was a musician, playing string bass and guitar, even taking some time during the war to entertain the troops. Donald enjoyed listening to and playing all types of music - especially anything he could tap his foot to. Donald retired as a maintanence supervisor from the State of Florida Education System. In his spare time, Donald enjoyed spending time with his family, practicing his Catholic faith, and especially playing golf. Donald is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria in 2010. He is survived by his son, Jeffrey (Victoria) Hogle; daughter, Leslie (Albert) Artigas; grandchildren, Jennifer (Paul) Oropesa, Emily Hogle and Francisco (Crystal) Dutriz; and great grandchildren, Lola, Ruby, Samantha, Natasha, and Sophia. Memorial Service with Military Honors will be Monday, June 25, 2012, 2:00 PM, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, in Thornton, Colorado. Committal Service will be held at a later date at Rocky Mountain Memorial Gardens in Aurora, Colorado.
