Donald Long Donald Long, 85, of Thornton, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2008. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marjorie; brother, Lester and many extended family members. He served during WW II and the Korean War in the U.S. Navy and in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30AM, Friday, September 5, 2008, at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 9998 Grant St., Thornton, 80229. Burial will follow at 1:00PM, at Fort Logan National Cem., Denver. Family suggest donations to the Alzheimer's Association, 455 Sherman St. Suite 500, Denver, 80203.
