Donald B. Long

Donald B. Long, 89, of Centennial passed away November 21, 2012. Don is preceded in death by his son Brian. He is survived his wife of 66 years Beverly Long and were married in 1948. He is also survived by his children Gary (Maria) Long of Brownsville, TX and their children Rena and Chris, Joyce Long of Boulder and her children Laurel and Elise, and Tim (Leanna) Long of San Diego, CA and their children Brian and Matt; and his sister Doris Clark of Roseburg, OR. Don served in the US Army Air Corps in WWII. He graduated from CU Boulder in 1952 as an Outstanding Journalism Graduate for that year. He was also an Editor of the Denver Post for 31 years and retired in 1987. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 1st at 3pm at Park Hill Congregational Church, 2600 Leyden St. in Denver.
