Donald E. McGinn

Donald E. McGinn, 77, of Arvada, died January 21, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Rose; children, Richard (Jenny) McGinn and Diana McGinn; grandchildren, Ryan (Megan), Katie, and Delany; sisters, Alice McGinn and Pat (Mike) Pfeifer; and brother Bob (Nancy) McGinn. His brothers, Bernard, James and Edmund McGinn, preceded him in death. During the Korean War he served in the United States Army, and he retired from the Rocky Mountain News after many years of service. Public Visitation will be held on Monday, January 26th, 2009, at 6:00pm, followed by Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00pm, both at Horan and McConaty Family Chapel, 3020 Federal Boulevard in Denver. A Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, January 27th, 2009 at 10:00am at Spirit of Christ Catholic Church, 7400 West 80th Avenue in Arvada. Interment will be Wednesday, January 28th, 2009, 9:30am, at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Boulevard in Denver. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Visiting Nurse Association Hospice Team, 390 Grant Street, Denver, CO 80203.
