Donald E. Meyer

Donald E. Meyer, age 96, died January 23, 2016. He was born August 13, 1919 in Atchison, Kansas. He graduated from University of California, Berkeley with a B.S. in Forestry 1941. He served in the Navy during World War II and Korea. Retired from the Naval Reserves as an officer with the rank of Commander. Worked in the Denver area as a pharmacist for thirty five years. He was an avid woodworker and loved to play golf. He is survived by son, Ben Meyer, grandson, Andy Meyer, Two greatgrandsons, Ethan and Tyler, one greatgrand daughter, Kiera. Memorial Service, Monday, 1pm, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave. Private burial Fort Logan National Cemetery. Donations suggested to Wounded Warrior Project.
