Don Milner died peacefully in his home in Denver. Don was born in Fort Collins, Colorado to David Clinton Milner and Gertrude (Griffin) Milner. Don graduated from St.Joseph's High School in Denver and Regis University. In high school he distinguished himself as class president and a vital member of the championship football team. He served in the United States Navy, stationed in Guam. He had a 37 year career with Public Service Co of Colorado. He was a big man with a big heart who loved to have outings with his children and their friends. He enjoyed coaching the kids teams, swimming, camping, and scouting. Don was friendly to and interested in everyone he met. He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years Arlene Catherine (Ferdon). Children Dave (Eunice), John, Margaret (Randy), Jean (Roger), Steve (Margaret), Patty (Jim), Jim(Claudia), and grandchildren Jackie, Ian (Valerie), Kari (Josh), Clinton (Lisa), Chris(Linnie), Matt, Anna, Joe, Emily, Hannah, Panda, Madeline, Jade, Julia and 3 great grand daughters. Visitation 6:00 pm, Rosary 7:00 pm Thursday 3/3, Funeral Mass 12:00 noon Friday 3/4 all at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 355 S Navajo Street Denver, Colorado 80223 Donations may be made in Don's name to: St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church
