December 2, 1921 — December 8, 2009

Donald M. Palmer, 88, of Golden, passed away December 8th. Survived by his wife Louise of 66 years; children, Don (Betty) of Colo. Springs, Charles (Pat) of Golden, and Alice (Ted) Krattli of Lakewood; five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Served in Samar, Phillipines as a PT boat mechanic in WWII. Don and Louise started and ran a business at the mouth of Mount Vernon canyon known as Mount Vernon Service in 1947. Through his business Don and Louise compassionately helped widows and families in the Lookout Mountain and Genesse area during difficult times and also the Denver area during the Platte River flood, June 1965. He amazed and stunned doctors and experts in the field with his own form of treatment. Visitation, Thursday, December 17, 2009 4-7PM, 3101 S.
