Donald Leonard Pinzenscham, 77, passed away June 5, 2008. He was born July 31, 1930, on a farm north of Strasburg, Colorado, into a family of three brothers and two sisters. His parents were John Leonard and Blanche Vansyock Pinzenscham. Donald Attended grade school and worked on his parents farm until the age of 18. At this time, he joined the United States Air Force. One year later he married Clara Hicks. Together they had four children, Pamela, Sharon, Donna and Ronald. Donald was recalled into the Air Force for an additional two years. In 1953, he began a career with United Airlines. In 1979, his wife, Clara passed away. He later married Janice Hanrahan and together they raised her three children, Jimmy, Troy and Tammy. Donald retired from United Airlines in 1991 and enjoyed his retirement by travelling. He is survived by his wife, Janice L. Pinzenscham, Aurora, CO; children: Pamela Brinster, Sharon Wachsmann, Donna Erikson, Ronald Pinzenscham, Jimmy Hanrahan, Troy Hanrahan and Tammy Roach. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and a sister, Joyce. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 16th, 10:30am, at Horan & McConaty, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave., Aurora. Burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
