Donald Thomas Rossi, age 77, of Foxfield, passed away in his home on October 13, 2012. He was born to Angelo and Antionette Rossi on December 27, 1934 in Welby Colorado. Donald Thomas Rossi was a loving husband and father who touched lives and left lasting impressions on every one he met. His principles and values were second to none and the care he took of his family was paramount. He was an entrepreneur who started and maintained numerous successful businesses throughout his many years. Providing for his family and managing numerous businesses were not his only passion though; he also loved to play hard. He had numerous hobbies, but the one he was most passionate about started when he was 16 years old. He bought his 1st Chevy -A 1942 purple Sedan; it only snowballed from there. He joined the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America and was member number 1096. He then started and organized the Mile High Region Chapter of Vintage Chevrolet Club in 1965. His knowledge, experience, and collection of vintage Chevy cars and parts grew to the point of a new business adventure. His love for the hobby was contagious and the countless relationships he developed with others inspired them to carry on the passion for generations to come. He met the love of his life when he was 18 years old , and would marry her 2 years later. Donald and Mary Ann were married for 57 years, had five amazing children and six beautiful grandchildren. He will be missed by all of his loving family members, the vast number of friends and acquaintances he came in contact with over his life time. Survived by wife Mary Ann; children Lisa Schultz, James Rossi, Sharon Williams, Karen (Eric) Rossi-Gilsenan, Mark Rossi; 6 grandchildren; brother Bill Rossi; brother-in-law Bill (Fran) Foster. Preceded in death by parents Angelo & Antionette Rossi; sister Gloria Foster. Funeral Mass, Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 10:00 AM, at Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Parish, 18000 E.
