Donald Frank Simpson

Donald Frank Simpson, 79, of Westminster, Colorado passed away on June 6, 2019 at his home surrounded by their loving family. Born on July 3, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois, son of the late Charles and Grace Simpson. Donald married Erma Simpson and together they shared 51 years of marriage.

Donald Loved Living in Colorado and all that its great outdoors offered. He was passionate about Hunting and fishing. Donald taught many how to approach the sport with great dignity and respect. He was also an avid racquetball player and even after he could no longer play, he enjoyed the camaraderie of his racquetball buddies.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents and brother Bud Simpson. He is survived by his loving wife, Erma; his Daughter “his little heart of mine”, Melody (Craig) Kirscht; younger brothers, Kenneth Simpson and Richard Simpson.

A graveside service will be held on June 13, 2019 at 10:15 am at Fort Logan National Cemetery Staging area ""C"" 4400 W Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO 80236. Reception to follow at Melody Kirscht’s Residence.
