DONALD B. WELSH

Donald Byron Welsh, born Akron, OH, May 3, 1921, passed away March 20, 2006, is survived by his wife, Renee Welsh, daughters Diane Tschacher and Leslie Welsh Hart, Sons Don Welsh and his wife Bonnie and Bob Welsh and his wife Valerie. Don served as a US Marine Corp aviator in WWII and Korea receiving several awards including the Air Medal. His flight career continued in the civilian world where he developed flight training programs for several airlines and retiring from United Airlines in 1981. Don's many civic activities included the Arapahoe County Sheriff Dept. Motorcycle div. and Wings Over the Rockies Museum. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 25, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3201 S. Parker Rd., Aurora. Private interment will be held at Ft. Logan Nat'l Ceme.
