Donald A. Welsh

Donald August Welsh, 78, of Centennial, Colorado, passed away October 22, 2012. He was born June 16, 1934 in Ogallala, Nebraska to Henry Allen and Elsie Elizabeth (Ivers) Welsh. Don is survived by his wife, Claire Welsh; three daughters: Stephanie Dawn Welsh, Shari Christine Welsh (Nick Martin), and Susan ""Susie"" Elizabeth (Keith) McKenzie; three grandchildren: Michael Kinter Talley, Drew Donald Talley and Ryan August McKenzie; siblings: Jean A. Elmshaeuser, William H. Welsh and Rex A. Welsh. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Clayton. A public visitation will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and a Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 29, 2012, at 10:30 a.m., both at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road (one block west of South Holly Street), in Centennial, Colorado. Burial will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery ~ Pavilion 'C', 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado on Monday, October 29, 2012 at 12:15 p.m. A reception and celebration of Don's life will follow at Rocky Mountain Community Church, 7562 South University Boulevard, in Centennial, Colorado.
