Donaleen Loretta Robinson

""Deep in our hearts a memory is kept, Of one we loved and shall never forget"" Donaleen Loretta Robinson, 89, passed away January 13, 2017. She was born in Akron Ohio, to Charles Orrin Turner and Leila Maureen Spires on January 10, 1928. Donaleen married Richard Wayne Boose and they had a daughter Sheryl Ann. After her marriage to Richard she married her second husband, Donald Ray Thompson in February of 1958, who was serving in the Air Force. They had three daughters, Loretta Lynn, Patricia Rae and Suzanne Marie. After dedicating her life to raising her four daughters in Colorado, she married her third husband Robert ""Rusty"" James Robinson. She moved to Rawlins, Wyoming with Rusty and then settled permanently in Riverton, Wyoming. Donaleen then worked with Rusty at the Wyoming State Honor Farm In Riverton which she found to be both rewarding and fulfilling. She also helped to open Adventureland Video, as well as working for a psychologist in the area, handling shipping and marketing of orders for his books and materials all over the country. Donaleen loved books and was an avid reader and collector of books throughout her whole life. She also loved birds, especially cardinals. On a good weather day she would sit on her front porch at her home in Riverton and watch the birds flying back and forth to her bird feeder on her front lawn. She also had a vast collection of bells, as well as rocks from various hikes and travels in her life. She enjoyed participating in various plays at the Senior Center in Riverton and also did volunteer work in helping the community. Last but not least, in her younger days she loved to dance and missed it greatly as she began to age and was not able to dance the way she wanted to anymore. Donaleen is survived by her daughters Sheryl Ann Lantz, Loretta Lynn Thompson, Patricia Rae Thompson and Suzanne Marie Thompson; her grandchildren Justin Keith Lantz, Jessica Ann Fast, Adrian Michael Ramirez, Shorey James Thompson, and her great-grand children Parker Cade Lantz, Ryder Justin Lantz, Zander Michael Ramirez and Ruby Grace Ramirez. Donaleen was a very kind and sweet soul, loved very dearly by her family and friends. She will be missed by all. A Loving Remembrance is planned for 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Horan and McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, CO.
